As a result of the simultaneous use of Citabax, Trittco and Mesopral, the following symptoms may occur and worsen: arrhythmias, as well as serotonin syndrome. The use of Citabax and Metoclopramide may cause side effects such as neuroleptic and serotonin syndrome. The most common clinical manifestations of this neuroleptic syndrome are: - change in mental status - muscle stiffness - fever - balance disorders Serotonin syndrome is manifested, m.in. confusion, agitation, fever, sweating, ataxia, hyperreflexia, muscle clonic seizures and diarrhea. This condition is distinguished by the so-called triad of symptoms, which includes: 1. Vegetative disorders, i.e. increase in blood pressure, fever, diarrhea, vomiting and mydriasis. 2. Psychiatric symptoms, consisting of anxiety disorders, feelings of anxiety and confusion. 3. Neuromuscular ailments, i.e. recurrent cramps, pain and increased muscle tone. If medicines have been prescribed by different doctors, a consultation is indicated to determine whether these medicines can be used at the same time and, if so, whether there is a need to change the dosage. If the medication has been prescribed by the same doctor, please follow his recommendations. If these reactions worsen or experience other worrying symptoms - please contact your doctor.
