Yellow fever (yellow fever) is an acute viral disease transmitted by mosquitoes infected with the virus. The area of incidence occurs in tropical regions of Africa and Central and South America. The disease does not occur in Poland. The most effective way to protect against the disease is vaccination, which further reduces the risk of dangerous complications. The vaccine is recommended for people who are going on vacation to the tropics. Any adult can get vaccinated at a pharmacy. Selected pharmacies also issue the International Vaccination Booklet.
