I am not aware of the recommendations to stop sugar during antibiotic therapy. Perhaps the recommendations resulted from a specific condition, e.g. a bacterial infection of the urinary tract, concomitant diseases (e.g. diabetes), or a specific drug? Please clarify the question so that I can give a detailed answer.
