For several months I have been taking ozempic 0.25 mg now I should be taking ozempic 0.5 mg, I can not get it anywhere. I will switch to trulicity 1.5 mg. My question is whether this is not too high a dose, or maybe 0.75 mg would be better?

Trulicity is a prescription preparation. The dose to be used is decided by a doctor who has full knowledge of the patient's state of health. According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, the recommended dose as monotherapy is 0.75 mg once weekly, and in the adjuvant treatment the recommended dose is 1.5 mg once weekly. A doctor who orders the use of a given dose of the drug is guided not only by the guidelines set by the manufacturer, but also by his knowledge and experience. If, in the opinion of the attending physician in your case, the initial dose should be 1.5mg, please follow the dosage instructions given by him.
