Can Mupirox be applied to the mucous membranes?
Good morning The doctor prescribed mupirox ointment to my 3 year old son for wounds on the anus. In the leaflet it is written not to use the preparation on the mucous membranes. I have a doubt whether to use it or not?

The doctor has practical knowledge about the use of a given preparation, so he could recommend applying Mupirox ointment to wounds on the anus. Please trust the specialist ordering the medicine for instructions for use.
