Hello, I have a question, I had frozen erosion and probably the freezing was at that time when I had a bacterial infection on the cervix (it came out of the list) Can it bring any negative effects? Is that why antibiotics won't work on this bacteria? Doesn't it do anything that freezing was done when there was an infection?

The freezing was in the previous year, but I suspect that the infection was already there then, and I am still struggling with it. So I'm afraid of bacteria will not be cured because there was erosion when there was already an infection.

The use of vaginal drugs is contraindicated immediately after the procedure, so if you were to use such a drug to treat the infection, you should change the form of therapy after consulting a doctor. If it was to be an oral form, the effectiveness of the treatment of the infection should be preserved.
So in this case I will not cure the infection?

A rolling bacterial infection with inflammation may be a contraindication to cryotherapy (freezing) erosion, but the final decision in this case is made by the doctor. The use of vaginal drugs, e.g. with an antibiotic, is contraindicated for several weeks after cryotherapy. Oral medications may be used, in some clinics they are even recommended as part of prophylaxis. If the treatment of the infection does not work, or if symptoms such as pain in the lower abdomen, severe bleeding, itching, foul-smelling vaginal discharge or fever appear, you should consult the doctor performing the procedure.
