The use of laxatives before a colonoscopy may have a significant effect on the absorption of Coaxil. Reduced absorption of the drug can cause a reduced concentration that it reaches in the blood, and this can result in side effects such as: anxiety, muscle pain, abdominal pain, insomnia, joint pain. The dose of laxative is usually given once immediately before the test, but I think you should consult your doctor about the possible need for a temporary adjustment of the dosage of Coaxil.
