It should be emphasized that the dose of the drug is selected individually for the patient, not only for his weight, but also for age, current clinical condition, concomitant diseases, etc. The weight of the child (less than 40kg according to the manufacturer) is not an absolute contraindication to the use of the drug, but only consultation with a doctor. Thus, in the opinion of the pediatrician, this dosage is appropriate in this particular case.
