Teseda is a medicine that contains the active substance temazepam, which belongs to the group of benzodiazepine derivatives. Discontinuation of temazapem should be done by gradually reducing the dose, due to the possible appearance of the "rebound" effect – the intensification of the symptoms that were the cause of the use of benzodiazepines. This may be accompanied by symptoms such as mood swings, anxiety, sleep disturbances and insomnia. This phenomenon is associated with abrupt discontinuation of the medicinal product. It is impossible to clearly determine whether after 6 days of taking Teseda, weaning will take place "without consequences". Teseda to the drug available by prescription, dosage and method of discontinuation of the drug is determined by the doctor prescribing the preparation.
