It can be said that Symural does not directly affect the results of urine tests. Elevated erythrocytes in the urine may be an additional confirmation of the existence of a bacterial infection in the urinary tract. The drug Symural contains in its composition the antibiotic fosfomycin. It is a bactericidal drug m.in the most common cause of bacterial urinary tract infection, i.e. E.coli. This drug is used in the evening, after emptying the bladder, hence performing a urine test immediately for the next day may not be a completely reliable result. Symptoms after using a dose of fosfomycin usually disappear within 2-3 days, so it is worth repeating the urine test. For my part, I will add that during urinary tract infection to take care of good hydration of the body, which promotes the so-called "flushing" of the urinary tract. If infections often return, you can use prophylactic preparations with cranberries, which inhibits the attachment of bacteria to the urinary tract, thus preventing their multiplication.
