Can I speed up the descent from Encorton?

Please tell me how to get off the encorton, because it feels bad after it. For 2 weeks I took 15 mg, now I take 12.5 mg and I have to take it for 3 weeks. How do I stop it faster or is there such a possibility, (doctor on vacation) Encorton I had saved for erythema nodosum, erythema went down only discoloration.

Encorton is a steroid administered orally. Dose reduction when descending from Encorton must be done gradually. It must not be discontinued suddenly, without the risk of inhibiting the functioning of the hormonal balance. In the case of short-term use (i.e. in your case), you can reduce the dose by 2-5 mg every 2-7 days. This should be done exactly as directed by your doctor. This process must not be accelerated D.ecyzja about discontinuation of the drug is taken by the doctor and it is he who determines how the doses are to be reduced to avoid the so-called withdrawal effect. It can manifest itself in: fever, malaise and pain in muscles and joints. I attach a useful link: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-sterydy-sa-bezpieczne
