Good morning. I received Vaginal globules Fluomizin and Betadine from the gynecologist. It also takes Euthyrox. It seems to me that the doctor ordered to use the drugs for a change, unfortunately I did not write down and I'm not sure if it can be? In the Betadine leaflet I read that the contraindication to the use of the drug are thyroid diseases, if I take Euthyrox I can safely use Betadine vaginal globules?

I understand that both Fluomizin and Betadine have been prescribed in the form of globules, i.e. we operate here locally. Fluomizin is used to treat bacterial vaginosis, when it comes to Betadine it has a wider spectrum. It works on bacteria, viruses, fungi and even protozoa. Betadine is used once a day with one globule before bedtime for 14 days. The vagina should be thoroughly moistened to facilitate the application of the drug and proper operation. You can not forget about maintaining personal hygiene and thorough washing of hands. Fluomizin is also used once a day for 6 days. If you are prescribed medication in the same form from one doctor, you can apply one preparation in the morning and the other in the evening. For 6 days you will use two medicines, and then only Betadine until the end of the package. Betadine is a drug that releases iodine. Therefore, it can not be used for a long time in thyroid diseases despite local administration. However, during a 14-day short use, there is no such risk. After completing the treatment, you should see a doctor for check-ups. I greet and wish you health :)
