Reverse acne requires long-term treatment, where an antibiotic is often prescribed in local form (clindamycin) or oral (limecycline) - this therapy is used in your case. Follow your doctor's instructions and wait for further recommendations after treatment. During treatment, it is worth taking care of proper hygiene of places where lesions occur - in this way the success of Tetralysal therapy increases, it can very rarely cause phototoxic effects. Phototoxic effects were observed at high doses (1200 mg/day) and concomitant heavy UV exposure. During treatment, however, it is advisable to avoid sunlight and other sources of ultraviolet radiation (e.g. solariums). If erythema or blistering skin lesions occur, treatment with Tetralysal should be discontinued as this may be the beginning of life-threatening severe skin lesions. I also recommend using creams with a 50 SPF filter before sun exposure. Dicortineff in the form of eye and ear drops does not interact with tetralysal, simultaneous use is safe .
