For 3 months I have been taking contraceptives qlaira (the third package is ending) I am on a trip that has been prolonged and I do not have the opportunity to go to the gynecologist who would write me a prescription. Question - how does the withdrawal of the drug and then return to taking a new package work, can I take a break? If I do not take the medication 2/3 of the day, what tablet should I take after opening the new package. Thank you

Qlaira tablets should be taken without interruption - after the end of one package, the next one begins. Delaying taking the tablet from the next blister by 2-3 days reduces the contraceptive effect. I suggest contacting your doctor by phone to issue a prescription for another package (it does not have to be a gynecologist, it can be a general practitioner), ask a nearby pharmacy about the possibility of issuing a pharmaceutical prescription, or applying a mechanical protection in the form of a condom for one month and starting a new package on the first day of real menstruation.
