In the case of both drugs, in the side effects there is information about their possible effect on the work of the heart. There were cases of prolongation of the so-called QT segment, but they occurred mainly in people with heart disorders or electrolyte disorders. Analyses are available that show that among the entire group of SSRIs, escitalopram shows a relatively low probability of the described adverse reaction. In addition, you can find information that fluconazole may affect the transformation, i.e. the so-called escitalopram metabolism. For single use, however, we do not expect the clinical significance of this interaction.
