Silodosin is a highly selective antagonist of alpha-adrenergic receptors, tamsulosin shows less selectivity in relation to receptors. Due to this feature, silydosin can cause less systemic side effects. Keep in mind that Sylodosin and Apo-tamis are medicines that come with a prescription. Therapy with a given drug is selected individually for the patient on the basis of contraindications to the use of a given substance, the occurrence of concomitant diseases and the general health of the patient. It is impossible to clearly determine which of the drugs is better, because the therapy with a given preparation is selected for a particular patient.

Silodosin and Apo-tamis are two different medicines, containing different active substances. Silodosin- silodosine, apo-tamis- tamsulosin. Indications for the use of Silidosin are the treatment of signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia in adult men. Apo-tamisu treatment of symptoms from the lower urinary tract associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia. Both substances are representatives of one group of drugs - antagonists of α-adrenergic receptors.

Finaran and Apo-fina are medicines containing the same active substance (finasteride) at the same dose. They are also used in the same indications. They exhibit the same effect.
