Lorafen is a medicine prescribed by your doctor and should be used as directed by your doctor. The half-life of lorafene (i.e. the time after which the concentration of the drug in the body is reduced by half) is 12 hours. During chronic use of lorazepam (the active substance of Lorafen), its complete elimination may take place after about 9 days. This is an approximate time, it may vary between patients. After this time, you should pay attention to whether there are symptoms such as drowsiness, forgetfulness, impaired alertness and decreased concentration. The appearance of withdrawal symptoms and the length of their duration depends on the individual patient. During the occurrence of the above side effects and symptoms caused by discontinuation of the drug, driving motor vehicles is inadvisable.
