Can Bioracef be used at a dose of 2 x 1000mg per day?
Good morning, can Bioracef be used at a dose of 2 x 1000mg per day? It seems to me that it could have been a typo on the prescription written, in the leaflet the proposed dose is twice as small. The drug is used to cure bacterial pharyngitis, weight 73 kilograms.

The usual dose of Bioracef is between 250 mg and 500 mg twice a day, depending on the severity and type of infection. I encourage you to contact your doctor to rule out a mistake.
