Due to the lack of Anticol, can I buy a replacement with more tablets in the package instead?
If I have a prescription for anticol that due to its lack I can buy antalcol which is a replacement but there are more tablets in the package. The dosage is the same?

According to the rules of proper prescription processing, it is not possible to issue a substitute if the number of tablets in the package exceeds by more than 10% the number of tablets written on the prescription. This is the case with Anticol 500 mg (30 tabl.) and Antalcol 500 mg (50 tabl.). Therefore, you may be refused such a replacement and the need to issue a new prescription for: 1 op. antalcol 50 tabl. or 2 op. Anticol (60 tablets in total).
