Contraceptives can interfere with folic acid metabolism, so folic acid can be taken during therapy. The usual recommended daily dose is 0.4 mg of folic acid. Examples of preparations can be found here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/kwas-foliowy-witamina-b9
