Testing the level of DAO (diamine oxidase) in the blood serum does not require special preparation. Probably taking a tablet with DAO 2 days before the test should not have a major impact on the result obtained. However, I encourage you to inform the doctor interpreting the obtained result about the use of a tablet with DAO. This information may have an impact on further therapeutic and diagnostic management.
