No, Emanera is not a shielding drug for use during antibiotic therapy. This is a drug that reduces the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach - such a practice is not needed in the process of taking an antibiotic. When taking an antibiotic, you should take a probiotic, i.e. a preparation containing good strains of bacteria that inhabit the digestive tract.
