Is hair loss a symptom of the body's adaptation to contraceptive pills?
Hello, I am in the process of taking the first pack of QLAIRA, I previously took Harmonet. Currently I am on the 9th tablet of Qlaira, I noticed hair loss, besides, from the 5th tablet I have a very large bleeding. Is it possible that at 9 tablets hair loss has intensified, just by QLAIRA. Stop or can you wait because the body needs time? Best regards

It is best to start Harmonet after the last active Qlaira tablet.
Thank you for your reply. I will have to go to Harmonet again until I visit my gynecologist. Should I do as in the leaflet, after the last active tablets take the first tablet of Harmonet? Maybe in order not to change the day of taking (I always start the package on Saturday, which is easier for me) I can take Harmonet after the last two tablets - placebo?

Yes, it is possible that Qlaira tablets have exacerbated hair loss. Hair loss is not due to the adaptation of the body to new tablets and will not disappear after the adaptation period, that is, 3-6 months - this is not the type of side effect. Besides, I am not convinced that you would be determined to wait so long with such a problem.
