Should I use over-the-counter medications for an intimate infection during the 2 weeks of waiting for a visit to the gynecologist?

Hello, for several days I have been struggling for the first time in my life with a vaginal infection, I have itching, slight burning and odorless vaginal discharge. So far I use clotrimalozum, I have a visit to the doctor only in 2 weeks, can I use over-the-counter drugs or is it better to wait so much time? That due to the fact that I am a virgin I have a problem with the application of globules.

2 weeks of waiting for a visit to the gynecologist is a lot of time to survive with an intimate infection. It can develop significantly during this time, so - if you can not speed up the visit to the gynecologist - you should use over-the-counter drugs. I am attaching a study that may be helpful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/app/artykuly/infekcje-intymne-jak-sobie-poradzic
