Could there have been any medical error, or can Comboterol simply be used on a 6-year-old child?

Comboterol is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age because efficacy and safety studies in this age group have not been conducted. However, the doctor may recommend taking the drug outside the manufacturer's registration indications, i.e. in younger children, if his knowledge and previous experience show that such therapy is safe and helpful.
