How many milliliters (ml) of Neocate Junior should a 15-month-old baby consume?

Good morning, how many ml of neocate junior should drink a 15-month-old child Is it enough 2 times a day for 210 ml (or 7 scoops( 1 scoop = 7.3g) of this milk / 210 ml of water? It is about covering the daily need for calcium. The child has allergies to cow's milk protein, so he does not eat any additional yogurts or calcium-containing products in large quantities. The doctor prescribed 7 small scoops (4 g)/210 ml. After all, this is too little, it will not cover the daily need for calcium. Please reply

Small 4g scoops are in neocate lcp. In neocate junior they are larger. If the doctor says so, he says wrong, not in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.

Neocate Junior should be used as directed by your doctor. The daily requirement of a 15-month-old baby for calcium is 700 mg. The best source of calcium is a varied diet. Rich sources of calcium include, m.in, sprats, tahini, flaxseed, almond milk, eggs, sesame, hazelnuts. However, in 100 ml of ready-made modified neocate Junior milk you have 90.3 mg. This means that if milk is the only source of calcium, it should be given to the child almost 800 ml per day. This calculation applies to milk prepared in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations, i.e. in the amount of 1 flat scoop per 30 ml of water. Unfortunately, I do not know what the doctor meant by writing down small scoops. Are there additional smaller and larger scoops in milk? It was probably the standard, flat scoops that came with the package. By giving about 400 ml of ready-made modified milk, you provide about 50% of the daily calcium requirement. The rest of the calcium requirement should be supplemented with the diet. After 12 months of age, there is no need to give milk products, including modified milk. It is recommended to gradually reduce the proportion of modified milk in the diet in favor of other foods.
