Is it possible that the doctor prescribed unnecessarily as many as 3 doses?

Hello, a test in my 6-year-old daughter showed infection with the protozoan Dientamoeba fragilis. The doctor prescribed the drug Zentel in a tablet for 3 days. On the first day I did not notice anything, but on the 2nd day after the second tablet I noticed a very bloated tummy and a pink small rash in the abdominal area and on the buttocks. Is it possible that the doctor unnecessarily prescribed as many as 3 doses, since even on the leaflet there is information that 1 tablet is enough for dientamebosis?
