Maść Dermitopic działa głownie w miejscu podania. U większości pacjentów z atopowym zapaleniem skóry, stosujących maść Dermitopic o stężeniu 0,1%, stężenie takrolimusu we krwi było mniejsze niż 1,0 ng/ml.
Ekspozycja ogólnoustrojowa zwiększała się wraz ze zwiększeniem leczonej powierzchni skóry, a stopień i szybkość wchłaniania zmniejszają się w miarę poprawy stanu skóry. Nie ma dowodów kumulacji narządowej u osób stosujących takrolimus miejscowo przez dłuższy czas.
