Wystarczający czas do podania leku Budixon Neb do dróg oddechowych wynosi tyle, ile przebiega prawidłowo przeprowadzona inhalacja. Pojemnik, do którego wlewa się roztwór po zakończeniu nebulizacji powinien być pusty, a otwory w maseczce zaklejone w 2/3, np. taśmą.
W przypadku nowszych nebulizatorów inhalacja trwa krótko - zwykle mniej niż 5 minut.
