Nystatynę można połykać, natomiast w przypadku drożdżycy jamy ustnej, lek powinien jak najdłużej zostać w jamie ustnej przed połknięciem.
Im dłużej przed połknięciem zawiesina pozostanie w jamie ustnej w kontakcie z zakażonym miejscem, tym skuteczność leku będzie większa.
Może Pani podać paracetamol lub ibuprofen w dawce odpowiadającej masie ciała. Na pewno zmniejszy on ból i dyskomfort.
Proszę zwrócić uwagę jaką gencjanę Pan/Pani kupiła. Są dwa rodzaje - roztwór wodny oraz roztwór spirytusowy. Roztwór spirytusowy bardziej podrażnia śluzówkę jamy ustnej. Może powodować ból i pieczenie w kontakcie z raną/pleśniawką. Jest również mniej zalecany u dzieci z powodu obecności alkoholu.
