Is contraceptive protection maintained if diarrhoea occurred after 4.5 hours after taking the Yaz pill?

Good morning. I take yaz tablets, today after about 4.5 hours diarrhea occurred. If there is no intercourse in the near future, should I still take the pill again? In addition, spotting appears in me, can it have negative health effects in addition to possible anemia? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Jeżeli biegunka wystąpiła po 4.5 godzinie po przyjęciu tabletki, to nie trzeba zażyć kolejnej dawki. Taka sytuacja byłaby konieczna, gdyby biegunka/wymioty wystąpiły w ciągu 3-4 godzin od przyjęcia leku.

Plamienie lub krwawienie śródcykliczne pojawia się zwłaszcza w pierwszych miesiącach stosowania (pierwsze 3 cykle) leku Yaz. Jeżeli plamienie/krwawienie śródcykliczne wystąpiło u Pani już po dłuższym czasie stosowania tabletek, a wcześniej były regularne krwawienia, to należy zgłosić to lekarzowi.
