Substancją czynną leku Sertagen jest sertalina. W Charakterystyce Postaci Leku nie ma zawartej informacji na temat możliwości dzielenia tabletki. Podział tabletki jest możliwy jedynie wówczas, gdy posiadają one specjalny rowek.
Na rynku dostępne są preparaty zawierające sertalinę w dawce 50 mg, jednak nie można zmieniać schematu przyjmowania leku oraz jego dawki bez konsultacji z lekarzem. Jest to szczególnie ważne na początku leczenia, kiedy ryzyko działań niepożądanych jest największe.
