Krople Otinum nie zawierają antybiotyku w składzie.
Działanie substancji czynnej preparatu Otinum (salicylanu choliny) jest przeciwbólowe i przeciwzapalne. Dotychczas po stosowaniu leku zgłaszano jedynie miejscowe reakcje nadwrażliwości (np. świąd i zaczerwienie skóry). Wystąpienie polekowej grzybicy ucha jest bardzo mało prawdopodobne:
