Should I take Erdomed if I have a dry cough?

Hello. The doctor prescribed me the drug on Friday erdomed twice a day. Second dose until 17. 00. I have a dry cough for several days. I clatra for the night one tablet. After checking the internet I have mixed feelings because erdomed is treated with a wet and not dry cough. Please give feedback on what to do. Do you want to set it aside? At night I took supremin because I was very tired of coughing. I'm waiting for an answer.
