Opzelura (ruxolitinib cream), used to treat non-segmented vitiligo with facial involvement in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age, has been approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA). Currently, the drug is not yet available to patients in Poland. Activities are underway to enable its distribution on the Polish market. Information on the availability of the drug will be provided after its introduction to local distribution, the manufacturer informed. At the same time, several centers in Poland are conducting clinical trials evaluating the use of this drug in children aged 6 to 12 years.
