Estreva gel can cause weight gain, although it will not necessarily be caused by an increase in body fat. Estrogens are more likely to cause fluid retention in the body (especially at the beginning of treatment), which can be perceived as "weight gain". There are also cases of metabolic and nutritional disorders, but - based on the conducted studies - patients may observe both an increase and a decrease in body weight as a result of the use of this drug.
