Good afternoon.
Can there be an increase in C-reactive protein and leukocytes in the blood after the start of taking Bronchovax in the first 10 days?
Also, I am interested in whether there can be a white coating on the tongue, which then passed and the tongue became crimson with clear papillae?
Thank you.

Broncho-vaxom is a vaccine drug, i.e. modulating the immune system, used as a prevention of recurrent upper respiratory tract infections. In rare cases, it may cause hypersensitivity on the part of the immune system: erythematous rash, generalized rash, erythema, oedema, swelling of the eyelids, face, peripheral oedema, swelling, swelling of the face, pruritus, generalized pruritus, dyspnoea. No changes in the mucous membrane in the mouth and tongue were found. The described symptom may well indicate the development of the disease (similar ailments are observed, for example, by patients infected with scarlet fever).
Like any vaccine, Broncho-vaxom can cause transient changes in morphology, so blood tests should be performed approximately 2-3 weeks after you stop taking the drug. Taking into account all aspects of the described situation, it is worth going to a doctor and checking whether the symptoms described are actually a side effect of the drug (they may well be a symptom of an infection).
