I have a question about dosage, I got oestrogel from a gynecologist so using 2x1 pump or 1x 2 as HRT. I'm 57 years old, only in the leaflet it says to take for 21 days, and then a break of 7 days. I don't know if I should use it non-stop or intermittently. I will add that at the age of 52 I had my uterine body removed.

After removal of the uterine body, estrogen itself is most often used continuously, i.e. every day without interruptions, because there is no need to induce bleeding as in women with a preserved uterus.
The 21+7 day regimen is mainly for cyclic therapy or when progestin is attached. In practice, many hysterectomy patients use Oestrogel daily, according to the dose prescribed by the doctor (e.g. 1-2 pumps per day). To be sure, however, it is worth confirming with the gynaecologist what regimen he has provided specifically for you, because the dosage can be individually adjusted to the symptoms. If spotting, breast pain or other alarming symptoms occur, please contact your doctor.
