Such a strategy is aimed at reducing the risk of side effects from the gastrointestinal tract. The next stage after the use of the 1 mg dose will be the implementation of Wegovy 1.7 mg.
Some patients may observe greater effects of the preparation at the beginning of treatment, which may result, for example, from a weakening of the receptor's sensitivity to the drug during its use. It is also important to remember to administer Vega correctly - removing the needle too quickly may cause the medicine to leak. In addition, patients may see a better effect if the solution given is at room temperature (after the first use, the product can be stored at room temperature for 4 weeks).
Pharmacological treatment should be combined with diet modification (reduction diet) and increased physical activity. Failure to comply with the above recommendations may also be the reason for the limited effectiveness of the drug.
