The preparation is not a substitute for Medikinet, because it contains another active substance - guanfacine (the active substance of Medikinet, on the other hand, is methylphenidate).
The drug is indicated in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 years, for whom stimulant drugs are not suitable, are not tolerated or have proven to be ineffective.
