Good morning
I got such a stain on my little toe on my left foot (attached photo) and it lasts for over 2 weeks. How can I get rid of it? I walked in the sides that day and they rubbed me slightly

The stain on your toe was caused by damage to the blood vessels under your skin as a result of abrasion or pressure with a shoe. This often happens on the toes when wearing shoes that rub the skin. Such a bloodstain can last from several days to weeks. Usually, such a condition regresses spontaneously within two to three weeks, but if it does not heal or the lesion grows, it is worth going to a dermatologist or podiatrist for evaluation and possible treatment.

In the meantime, it is worth avoiding further abrasions: wearing other, looser shoes will allow the foot to heal for a while. You can also use a protective dressing or blister patches to reduce friction and facilitate healing.

If pain, redness, swelling or pus occur, you should consult a doctor because of the risk of infection.
