Can a 50 kg baby take 500 mg of Vermox for 3 days?

Good evening. An 11-year-old child (weight 50 kg) was prescribed a dosage of Vermox 500 mg once a day for 3 days.
Is this not too high a dosage?

Vermox comes in a dose of 100 mg. Standard Dosage:

"Pinworm

100 mg (1 tablet) once. As human pinworm re-infestations are very common, it is recommended to repeat treatment after 2 and 4 weeks, especially during eradication programmes.

Ascariasis, whipworm infestations:

200 mg daily (1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening) for 3 consecutive days."
