Burn wounds that are treated with Argosulfan ointment should first be gently washed before applying another layer of cream.

For wound washing, it is best to use an aqueous solution of boric acid 3% (Borasol) or an aqueous solution of chlorhexidine 0.1% (Octenisept), which help to clean the wound and prevent infections.

After washing, the wound should be dried and then, under aseptic conditions, a fresh layer of Argosulfan ointment 2-3 mm thick should be applied.
