Can I use only suppositories or only Proctis® cream if the symptoms of anal itching subside?
Good morning I have an anal itch, Dr. mo recommended suppositories proktis in the evening and treatment with proktis cream always in the evening for 10 days. Can I use only one of the two products and stop improving?

As a pharmacist, I recommend following your doctor's recommendations, as both suppositories and Proktis cream are often used to treat hemorrhoids and other anal ailments. Suppositories act locally inside the anus, while creams are applied to the outer parts of the anus. Using just one of these products may not be enough if your symptoms are related to both areas. If you notice improvement, you may want to consult your doctor to assess whether you can reduce your treatment to one product. However, without consulting a doctor, I do not recommend modifying the treatment yourself.
