Bepanthen is a preparation containing dexpanthenol, which has soothing, moisturizing and regenerative properties. In the case of demodicosis treatment, which usually requires the use of specialized antibacterial or antifungal preparations (e.g. drugs containing metronidazole or permethrin), it is worth consulting a dermatologist before using Bepanthen on the face.

While Bepanthen is generally safe for use on the skin, for demodicosis, which is an infectious disease caused by dust mites (Demodex mites), the use of preparations that can increase skin moisture can sometimes lead to skin deterioration, especially if hydration promotes the growth of microorganisms.

I recommend consulting a dermatologist who will assess the condition of your skin and help you choose the right care so as not to aggravate the problem.
