Sudden discontinuation of Femoston can lead to a recurrence of menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes, insomnia or mood swings. In some cases, bone density disorders may also occur. It is recommended that the drug be gradually discontinued under medical supervision to minimize the risk of such effects.
