Should a fever in a five-year-old child on the fifth day of using Ceroxim cause concern?
Hello, my five-year-old daughter was given the antibiotic ceroxim for laryngotracheitis and she has a very wet cough tiring . On the fifth day of taking the antibiotic, I developed a fever .should I have anything to worry about?

Fever during antibiotic therapy may indicate ineffective treatment, the development of complications of the infection or the coexistence of another infection. I encourage you to contact your doctor again to assess your daughter's condition, a possible change in antibiotics or additional tests. A wet, tiring cough may also need to be supported by medication to relieve symptoms.
