Does a long-term cough after a cold, which does not go away after antibiotics, require consultation with a specialist?

Hello Since September, after a cold, I have been coughing, but now for a few days I have had a cold again, but the cough was still there, I had an antibiotic and still nothing, syrups do not help, I do not have asthma medication.
Then a specialist?

Yes, if the cough persists despite antibiotics and symptomatic treatment, it is worth consulting a specialist to rule out causes such as asthma, chronic airway inflammation or bronchial hyperreactivity. Long-term cough after infection may result from irritation of the respiratory tract, but persistent symptoms require further diagnostics to select effective treatment.
