How to change your hydroxyzine medication to Tisercin in a child?

Hi my 7 year old son had been prescribed arpixor then risolped I sequentially hydroscine.. Unfortunately, none of these drugs gave us a decent calming effect on the child, now he is prescribed Trisercin, do I have to keep a distance from hydroscisin, before I give him Trisercin, or can I give him the next morning without fear?

If you switch from hydroxyzine to Tisercin, you should follow your doctor's instructions. Due to the imprecise recommendations and the fact that the leaflet does not use the drug in children under 12 years of age, I encourage you to consult your doctor again or use the teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-pediatra

Due to the interaction, both preparations should not be used at the same time, as we wrote in the opinion:

https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/82277/hydroxyzine-czy-mozna-laczyc-tisercin-i-hydroksyzyne

For hydroxyzine, it is indicated that the half-life of the drug is dependent on the age of the child. For a 7-year-old child, it is between 4 and 11 hours. This means that after approx. 20 - 55 hours, traces of the drug remain in the child's body.

I am attaching a link that allows you to check the availability of Tisercin and make a reservation at the pharmacy of your choice:
