Ostenil solution for injection is a preparation containing the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. This product is usually used as an adjunct in the case of pain, degenerative and post-traumatic changes in the joints. Injections containing hyaluronic acid are often used in the knee joint, and I also find information about the possibility of administering the substance to other joints. The possibility and appropriateness of administering Ostenil to the joints of the hands and ankle should be discussed with a specialist.
